ITS 201 Introductory Integrated Studies Seminar (3 crs)
Addresses the intellectual and civic benefits of pursuing an integrated, multidisciplinary education, including an exploration of the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences as interrelated, mutually enriching human enterprises. Introduces the research and creative methodologies used in these fields.

ITS 301 Integrated Studies Research Seminar (3 crs)
Prerequisite: ITS 201 or minimum sophomore standing in the University Honors Program or consent of instructor.
Advanced study of research and creative methodologies used in the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Examines methodological similarities to enhance understanding of the common underpinnings that define liberal studies and human inquiry as well as differences in rhetorical strategies, questions asked, and tools used.

Prerequisite: ITS 201

ITS 480 Integrated Studies Capstone Seminar (3 crs)
Prerequisite: ITS 301. Minimum senior standing. Department consent required.

Culminating experience of the Integrated Studies Major. Focuses on critical inquiry in and complex interactions between the arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences. Completion of a semester-long project related to a central course theme.
