German Proficiency, Certificate

The certificate program in German Proficiency provides students with practical language and cultural skills complementing majors and minors in all other disciplines. The array of courses strengthens the academic and professional prospects of students who wish to acquire some linguistic and intercultural competence relevant to the German-speaking world.

The desired benchmark for language proficiency is Intermediate Low or above on the ACTFL proficiency scale.
