Note 1: The minor is not tied to teaching licensure via the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Note 2: Students pursuing a major in the ES program are not eligible to pursue this minor.
Note 3: Except for ES courses, no more than 12 credits from any course prefix may be counted toward the minor. CJ/WGSS, ECON/WGSS, SW/NRSG courses, for example, will count as CJ, ECON, SW credits, respectively, for the purpose of this limitation.
Note 4: Other courses as approved by the Community Education and Collaboration minor advisor.
Note 5: Up to three credits from Directed Studies, Independent Study, or Special Topics courses that focus on education issues may be applied to the minor with approval from the Community Education and Collaboration minor advisor.
Note 6: Many courses in the minor have prerequisites, please check the catalog for details.
Note 7: A course may not be used to meet both an Elective requirement and a Pathway requirement.

- Demonstrate understanding of diverse communities and the ways people learn, particularly from minoritized identities across local, national, transnational, and global contexts.
- Apply educational knowledge and skills to respond to issues through a multidisciplinary lens, self-reflexivity, and collaboration.
